As a family-owned cable manufacturer based in Memmingen, Germany, we develop and produce customized cables for various industrial market segments. Our work focuses in particular on the high requirements of our customers in terms of temperature resistance and the durability of our products.

Company history

1953

The company is founded by Wilhelm Garnisch in Rennertshofen near Neuburg/Danube. Only electrical insulating hoses are manufactured here.

1967

The takeover by Ing.grad. Rolf Raab and Erika Raab takes place, starting with the production of heat-resistant cables.

1979

The company relocates to Memmingen in the Allgäu region. The first construction phase is followed by five further construction phases.

1998

Dipl.-Ing. Volker Raab becomes Managing Director and leads the company into the second generation.

2008

The company’s name is changed to "Garnisch GmbH Special Cable Production".

2000-2016

Three more production halls and a high-bay warehouse are built at Woringer Str. 23 and 27, creating additional capacity for growth.

2022

Gregor Mang and David Mang-Stetter are appointed to the management board and together lead the family business into the third generation.
